Tarpon School in Belize
Have you ever been out on the water and felt you had just been "schooled" by a fish? Haven't we all? Well, here's your chance to finally do something about it. Enroll today in our annual Tarpon School in Belize. The school runs from Saturday, April 2nd through Saturday, April 9th, 2011 at the Turneffe Island Resort and is open to the first ten (10) anglers to register. Don't miss out on one of the most anticipated fly fishing events of the new year!
Join hosts, Conway Bowman of Bowman Bluewater Guides and Outfitters and Rob Provost of Grand Slam Fly Fishing Destinations for a fun, challenging, informative, action-packed week on the saltwater flats, rivers and cayes of central Belize. Your trip includes six full days of guided fly fishing for large resident and migratory Tarpon, combined with numerous chances to stalk Bonefish, Snook and the ever-elusive Permit. These pristine waters are also abundant with Barracuda, Snapper and Jacks. All lodging, transfers and meals are also included.
The Tarpon School in Belize has been carefully designed for the intermediate to advanced angler looking to: 1) improve their knowledge of and 2) hone their fly fishing skills and tactics against arguably the most spectacular saltwater game fish around! Additionally, it will provide each participant with ample opportunity to pursue the Saltwater Grand Slam, the Saltwater Super Grand Slam and/or the Back-Country Slam.
